Posto’s Sunday Roasts

For a short month, February can seem a little long for winter weary New Englanders. Starting on Sunday, February 9th, Posto adds a bright spot to the chilly weekends with their Sunday Roasts. The three-course menus, available for $29 per person (not including tax and gratuity), feature different seasonal dishes built around roasted meats fresh from their wood burning oven. Consult the menus below to see what they’ve got in store and plan a Sunday night jaunt to Davis Square for a hearty meal and to see a little light at the end of the wintery tunnel.

Sunday February 9th
Zuppa di Castagne
chestnut soup, apples, bacon, celery leaves

Porchetta
roasted stuffed pork, garlic, fennel, lentils, winter squash

Sorbetto di Cidro
apple cider sorbet, walnut brittle, caramel

Sunday February 16th
Fegato di Pollo
chicken liver mousse, olive oil ciabatta, housemade pickles

Tacchino
roasted turkey rollatini, caramelized leek stuffing, cranberry, cauliflower purée

Budino
dark chocolate custard, dried apricot sauce, hazelnut tuile

Sunday February 23rd
Foglia di Vite
grape leaves, lamb sausage, ceci beans, yogurt

Agnello
roasted stuffed lamb shoulder, pinenut, mint, grilled treviso, balsamic black misson fig sauce

Torta all’olio
meyer lemon olive oil cake, huckleberry coulis, vanilla Chantilly
