Break out the shackets and boots because it’s time for fall fare in the form of a posh Pork & Friends pig roast at Northern Spy in Canton. Head to the historic Revere Copper Mill on Sunday, September 15th to swine and dine with chef Marc Sheehan and his special guest chef Joshua Lawler of the Farm and the Fisherman Tavern in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. Lawler is a James Beard semi-finalist and former chef de cuisine at the acclaimed Blue Hill at Stone Barns in Pocantico Hills, New York, which is also where he mentored chef Sheehan, so it’ll be a culinary homecoming you won’t want to miss.
The chefs will be bonding in front of the wood-fired hearth all night to bring you a five-course dinner for $100 per person highlighting Ossabaw Pork of Clover Luck Farm in Pepperell, Massachusetts. Each course will feature parts of the whole swine from nose to tail, including offal, cheeks, jowls, snout, shoulder, loin, belly, and sausage (and yes there’s dessert), plus you can add a tasty beverage pairing for $50. Get your reservations here and plan to be in proximity to the pig out by 6:00pm for the first course. Dinner will be served family style at communal tables, and if you have any Qs you give them a ring at 781.989.1850.
