This Sunday, June 7th, chef Dave Punch and co. are hosting a walk-up pop-up Sandwich Shoppe at Sycamore to raise funds for the National Urban League, a historic civil rights organization that advocates for economic and social justice for African Americans and against racial discrimination in the US. Head for Newton between 11:30am and 1:30pm to choose between two sandwiches – a meaty one and a vegetarian version for the meat-free peoples – and an array of chips and booze-free beverages. Staff will be donating their time, all you have to do is bring cash and your mask, and get there before they run out.
