Pop Up Brunch

The Franklin Café, beloved South End eatery and popular late night hang, is introducing a menu for the early birds (by Franklin standards) with a one-day-only pop up brunch. On Sunday, June 9th chef Joshua Smith will be serving treats that have never before been seen in the hallowed dining room: compressed melons, fresh baked biscuits, coddled duck eggs and eggs benedict with tasty accompaniments like beef tongue and Chinese sausage. And, since it’s the Franklin, there’ll be beefy bloodies (Bloody Marys made with beef bouillon and garnished with Slim Jims), mimosas by the pint and classic cocktails for midday imbibery. Reservations are not required (or accepted) so just swing by between 11:00am and 4:00pm to see if you can snag a table for this one time only (or once every 18 years or so) event.
