Save yourself a table out on the patio at Za to enjoy an evening of live music and piping hot pizza on Thursday, October 7th. Chef-owner Peter McCarthy and the crew at the Cambridge pizzeria will once again be welcoming their friends from Boston Music Project (BMP) for an al fresco night of food and tunes — this time around it’ll be a Latin jazz quartet of professional teaching artists playing some iconic pieces. It’s $60 for dinner for two (one salad, one pizza and one dessert to share — you can peruse the menu here) including tax, tip, fees and the jazzy entertainment. Scoop up your tickets online here before someone else beats you to it then plan on being in Kendall Square between 5:00 and 5:30pm to find your table; music starts at 6:00pm. Proceeds from the event, part of the Sound Bites Series, support BMP’s Student Scholarship Fund designed to help local youth have access to music education.
