Leave it to restaurant industry to throw a party late on a Monday. On June 3rd, Pastoral in Fort Point is hosting their second annual Industry (Pizza) Pie Eating Contest, where 10 contestants from 10 different Seaport restaurants will compete to see who can eat three full Margherita pizzas the fastest and win the grand prize and eternal honor among the pizza elite. The bell sounds at 11:00pm, when the contestants will start chewing and the crowd (that’s you) will start cheering. There will be beer and cocktail specials running until 2:00am, and if all the eating gets you feeling peckish you can order your own pizza or an assortment of snacks from the late-night menu until 1:30am. This event is open to the public and there’s no cover, so come cheer on your favorite Fort Point pizza pro!
