Jamaica Plain’s Centre Street Cafe takes a wine-y stroll through the lush rolling hills of Piedmont on Tuesday, January 26th. Reserve a seat and explore the foods and wines of the region, which sits at the foot of the Alps and borders both France and Switzerland. Chef Brian Rae is working on a five-course menu of Piedmontese eats (Look for eggy pastas and rich sauces. And truffles.) to be paired with five wines selected by Blanchard’s wine director John Paul Kaminga and Ideal Wine’s Steven Chevalier. The meal, which starts at 7:00pm, costs $75 per person.
