Parish Café Brings Back Two Sandwich Specials

Front Burner Social

Boston chefs look out for one another, that’s for sure. Take the folks from Parish Café, for example. The team from the Back Bay outpost of the beloved sandwich shop is rolling out two special sandwiches in support of one of their regular customers: Darrell Boles, Executive Sous Chef at Toro. Boles, who was a daily visitor at the now-closed Parish Cafe South End, was seriously injured a few weeks ago near his apartment. To help support his recovery his friends from Parish are reinstating sandwich creations from Toro’s founders Jamie Bissonnette and Ken Oringer and donating the proceeds to Boles.

Stop by Boylston Street through Sunday, September 9th to order The Benny (a Vietnamese-inspired sammie with spicy grilled chicken breast, julienned vegetables and mint-coriander mayo on a warm baguette), or The Coppa (slow roasted pork belly with American cheese, mayo, jalapeño peppers, serrano peppers and onions on a sesame seed bun). Donations will also be accepted at the restaurant, or you can contribute online through the GoFundMe page.
