Guacamole lovers, get yourself to The Painted Burro on Sunday, April 23rd for their fifth annual Guac Off. They’re asking home cooks for their best recipes, then putting ten finalists to the ultimate taste test. Those skilled in the art of avocados could see their guacamole on The Painted Burro menu (and enjoy a $400 restaurant gift card).  Event attendees will help determine the People’s Choice winner (who receives a $100 gift card and the satisfaction of guac popularity). Tickets to the tasting (3:00-5:00pm) are $5 each online here and proceeds support No Kid Hungry’s fight against childhood hunger.
