On Sunday, May 5th, the Barbara Lynch Collective is shutting down Waltham Street in the South End for their annual tribute to Boston bivalves. It’s another installment of the Oyster Invitational, where New England oyster purveyors collaborate with local chefs for a smorgasbord of briny bites. There will be wine, beer, and specialty cocktails for you to enjoy while you check out cooking demonstrations at Stir and make your rounds of the restaurant stations from the likes of B&G Oysters, Babbo, Café Artscience, Drink, Formaggio Kitchen, Menton, Neptune Oyster, No. 9 Park, Island Creek Oyster Bar, Salt Water, Select Oyster Bar, Sofra, Sportello, Stir, The Butcher Shop, Uni and Waypoint.
