Oui Chef: Talking Taste Returns to the ICA

The Institute of Contemporary Art’s popular chef-centric speaking series Talking Taste launches its sixth season this month welcoming some of Boston’s favorite hospitality professionals. Sign up for sessions with with bar manager/owner Sam Treadway of Backbar or chef-owner Jeremy Sewall, the Executive Chef of the Eastern Standard network of restaurants (which also includes Lineage, The Hawthorne, Island Creek Oyster Bar and Row 34). They’ve also got Tim Maslow of Ribelle and Strip T’s lined up to host but they’re still working on a date so be sure to check back for details. The talks will be held, weather permitting, outside on the ICA grandstand or inside the Barbara Lee Family Foundation Theater, both of which offer stunning waterfront views. There’ll be cooking demonstrations, with samples, Q&A sessions and opportunities to peek behind the curtain of some of the city’s most successful restaurants. For more information and tickets (which are $15 or $10 for ICA members and students), click here.
Friday, June 20th – Sam Treadway
