This past April, in celebration of their 20th anniversary, Todd English turned back the clock at Olives, his flagship restaurant in Charlestown, bringing back the dishes that first put them on the culinary map nearly two decades ago. Given the success of this foray into nostalgic dining, English has decided to continue the fun -every Friday in the month of May, chef Joseph Brenner will prepare a Throwback Friday Menu filled with original dishes from 1989 – at 1989 prices. Some old favorites will continue to reappear including beef carpaccio with Roquefort polenta ($5.50) and brick oven roasted half chicken ($12.95).
