Get your fest-best dirndls and lederhosen on and head to Rail Stop from Friday, September 30th through Sunday, October 2d for an all Oktoberfest weekend featuring Jack’s Abby and Von Trapp Brewing. The train-friendly tavern at Brighton’s Boston Landing will be celebrating with some special German-inspired bites of Bavarian pretzels with whole grain mustard and obatzda (Bavarian cheese spread); and a pretzel/sausage/beer combo of a poached bratwurst with sauerkraut on a pretzel roll, German potato salad, and a Jack’s Abby Copper Legend. Plus they have a trio of special drafts from Jack’s Abby and Von Trapp by the pint or stein (see the menu below). On Saturday from 12:00 to 3:00pm they will be in full fest mode, including a stein hoisting event (just like you see in the pictures from Germany). Tickets aren’t required, and the fest menu is available all weekend — just head down anytime during regular hours (starting at 11:30am on weekends), or make a reservation here, and have a little taste of Munich right in Brighton.
