OAKtoberfest Pop-Up Beer Garden

Provided by Oak Long Bar

Since its revamp back in the spring, OAK Long Bar + Kitchen’s patio has had its fair share of parties throughout the outdoor season, and on Friday, September 21st, the space is getting another makeover (and another bash) in the form of a pop-up beer garden. The folks from the Fairmont Copley Plaza spot are partnering with Vermont-based Zero Gravity Brewery to deck out the al fresco area with picnic tables and giant patio games like Connect 4 and Jenga (c’mon, that’s cool!). Four brews from Zero Gravity will be exclusively featured: Green State Lager, Conehead IPA, Little Wolf Pale Ale and this year’s Oktoberfest, a marzen lager made with all German malts and hops.

For non-beer drinkers, a selection of Massachusetts-made ciders will be served, and no matter what you’ll be drinking, take part in some shareable snacks from chef Graham Lockwood like the jumbo Bavarian pretzels served with beer cheese, cider donuts, gourmet pigs-in-a-blanket, caramel coated popcorn and flatbreads. Swing by any day through Monday, October 8th between 4:00 and 8:00pm, and mark your calendars for an official patio party set to take place on Thursday, October 4th. Questions?
