Get all dressed up in your fanciest race day duds and giddyup over to OAK Long Bar + Kitchen on Saturday, May 7th for the return of their supremely popular (and super fun) Kentucky Derby Party. The juleps will be flowing (for the first time since 2019) and chef Zaid Khan is trotting out a special Crispy Chicken Sandwich just for the occasion. Festive attire – seersucker suits, bowties and boaters, sundresses and floppy hats – is encouraged and may even win you Red Sox tickets, courtesy of Maker’s Mark and Jim Beam who’ll be gifting a pair to the best dressed partygoer. The horses are off at 6:57pm but you’ll want to get there well before that to get a good seat (close to the big screen TV in the dining room) and to have your picture taken on the step-and-repeat (there’ll a photographer on site snappin’ pics starting at 4:00pm). There are no tickets for the event but reservations, available online here through OpenTable, are your best bet.
