On Monday, November 13th from 6:00 until 9:00pm, Townsman is the place to bee, at the release party for Noble Bee sauternes barrel-aged honey. All of the cool kids will be there to help roll out this “bee to barrel” nectar, the folks from Wasiks will be supplying cheese pairings and Noble Bee collaborators Blackbird Donuts will be bringing savory honey-parmesan donuts. Cask Force will be in the house pouring off a very special 5 liter bottle of first growth 1988 Margaux, and every guest will leave with their own jar of honey. There are two ticket types for the event, one for the honey reception ($30) and separate wine tickets for the Margaux ($25 for a two-ounce pour). A cash bar will be available for anyone not into the fancy vino. Word to the wise: redeem your wine tickets by 8:00pm, otherwise they’ll start offering seconds.
