Forum, which has been closed since the Marathon Monday bombings, is gearing up for a summer re-opening with a revamp and a brand new chef in the kitchen. Chef Matthew Barros, whose resume includes stints at Market and Myers + Chang, will be overhauling the menu, adding his signature French and Asian touches. While he waits for his new home to be fully ready for business – the restaurant is getting a new look and feel – Barros will be hosting sneak preview dinners at shuttered sister restaurant, Noche (3 Appleton St). The weekly dinners, which will give him a chance to test a few dishes, start on Friday, May 17th. The multi-course meals start at 7:00pm (though you can get there as early as 6:30pm if you’d like a pre-dinner drink) and cost $75 per person. There’ll be a cash bar.
