New England’s Finest Chefs Series

The folks at Fat Hen and La Brasa have added a chef-focused culinary series to the offerings at their East Somerville spot(s). Every Thursday, owner Daniel Bojorquez and chef Brian Miller will be welcoming a different cooker (it’s quite the roster!) to take over the kitchen for the evening, serving a prix fixe menu of snacks, mains, sides and desserts. You can reserve a spot in the spacious, socially-distant dining room at La Brasa between 6:00 and 9:00pm, or order your meal to-go and they’ll pack everything up for you to enjoy at home.

On Thursday, December 10th chef Colin Lynch of well-known and well-loved spots (Bar Mezzana, Shore Leave, Black Lamb and No Relation) is serving up a delectable menu that shows off his formidable talents in dishes like sage and chicken liver beignets with sauce carmelo, grilled octopus with marinated gigante beans and the plat de résistance — glazed lamb loin paired with truffled potato agnolotti and herb salad.

Seating is limited (and so are the number of take-out meals) so take a peek at the full menu below and book your table/take-out as soon as you see something you like.
