New England Cuisine in 2018 and Beyond

Le Laboratoire Cambridge

You’ve seen dozens of menus around town, but what do you picture when someone mentions “New England Cuisine”? On Wednesday, January 16th, ArtScience Culture Lab & Café in Cambridge is out to figure out what eating looks like in our neck of the woods, from what chefs are doing locally to how it’s perceived nationally. The free talk will be moderated by local food journalist Leah Mennies and invites three local food experts to speak and share ideas about what New England Cuisine is and where it might be headed — you’ll hear from Marc Sheehan, chef and owner at Loyal Nine; Irene Li, operator at Mei Mei; and Fred Opie, Professor of History and Foodways at Babson College. There’s no cost to listen, but the space fills up fast, so make sure to RSVP by clicking here.
