In case you’d forgotten, National Spaghetti Day is coming up on Monday, January 4th. Mark your calendars and get ready to do some serious fork twirling with a little help from chef David Bazirgan and Co. at Capalbo’s, the on-going Italian pop-up at Bambara. In honor of the culinary…holiday?…the team is highlighting their beloved bucatini, a variation of the celebrated pasta with a hollow center and thus more surface area for sauce (that hollow center means it’s covered in and filled with sauce, y’see). The bucatini at Capalbo’s comes with beef & pork meatballs, tomato sugo and pecorino and pairs pretty nicely with…just about everything else on the menu. Plan a Spaghetti Day pasta party on Monday or whenever you see fit – the bucatini (and the rest of the menu) is available seven days a week for dine-in, take-out and delivery (Sunday through Thursday from 5:00-8:30pm and Friday & Saturday from 5:00-9:00pm).
