National Deli Month at Mamaleh’s

Save the pastrami! August is National Deli Month, which highlights traditional Jewish delicatessens around the country, and also brings some attention to declining numbers of hallowed halls of challah in recent years. You can celebrate this holiest of holidays all month long at your neighborhood deli with chefs Rachel and Tyler Sundet at Mamaleh’s, which will be serving their vegetarian Reubens and Rachels made with Mrs. Goldfarb’s Unreal Corn’d Beef, as well as periodic specials of Latke Fries with Russian Dressing, and Fruit & Cheese Danishes. Plus you can feel good not only supporting your local knish joint, but also knowing that 18% of the sales from their Deli Month specials will go to the National Council of Jewish Women to support the Jewish Fund for Abortion Access. National Deli Month runs from August 1st to 31st, so swing by any of Mamaleh’s locations (Kendall Square, Brookline or High Street Place) soon to support the cause and have a nosh. Visit the Mamaleh’s website for hours and online orders, and for a complete list of locations and delis celebrating Deli Month, visit this link.
