Maria Castellanos

The Lunar New Year is fast approaching and Myers+Chang, the beloved South End eatery from Joanne Chang and Christopher Myers, wants you start off the year with a bang (or maybe a roar?), a bit of luck and an amazing meal. From Monday, January, 31st through Wednesday, February 2nd mark the start of the year of the Tiger at the funky, pan-Asian restaurant with tasty specials like tiger striped shishito peppers, steamed whole fish, and traditional longevity noodles with shrimp (for a long & happy life). To ensure you have a sweeter year, there’s caramelized pineapple upside down cake with vanilla bean parfait for dessert. If you’d rather celebrate the holiday with a special someone, the team has a Date Night Special for two featuring one of each new year’s dishes with a side of white or brown rice.
