On Tuesday, October 25th chef Mark Usewicz teams up with local mushroom man Ben Maleson at Rustic Kitchen’s Porter Square location for a dinner celebrating edible fungi. The evening’s menu will feature locally foraged mushrooms as well as varieties from around the world. Maleson will be on hand to share his wealth of knowledge while Usewicz prepares several mushroom-centric dishes like poached local eggs with wild mushroom crostone; wood oven roasted chanterelles with house made bresaola; and matsutake and bufalo mozzarella pizzette.
