Monastic and Mountain Cheese Dinner

Sunday is fun-day and Thursdays are thirsty but at L’Espalier, Tuesdays are tops. Cheese Tuesdays are a long-standing tradition at this French institution, and on Tuesday, August 28th, they’re diving into Monastic and Mountain Cheeses with a three-course dinner, paired wines and all of the cheese. Once you take your seat at 7:00pm, you’ll be greeted with fresh oysters and golden watermelon granita paired with French bubbles. The chef isn’t pulling any punches, starting out with Maine lobster and finishing with grilled sirloin, but all of that is just a prelude to the cheese trolley rolling around to your table at the end. Dinner, wine and fromage is $95 per person; for reservations, call the restaurant at 617.262.3023.
