Monday nights at Black Lamb might look a bit different for the next few weeks, thanks to a new beginning-of-the-week pop-up, Mimi’s Chūka Diner. On Mondays, August 3rd, 10th and 17th, Colin Lynch and his team at the Tremont Street restaurant will be giving friends and fellow cookers Jon Awerman and Ted Woo the keys to the kitchen to showcase their Japanese-style Chinese dishes (also called chūka ryori). You can expect Mimi’s signature dumplings, noodle dishes, ramen and drink specials inspired by beverage director Ryan Lotz’s tiki program at Shore Leave.
Skim the menu below and don’t miss your chance to try all the delicious a la carte treats — just reserve a table online asap for indoor or outdoor dining (max parties of six) between 5:00 and 9:00pm. Tickets are free, but they do ask that you bring a gently-used book to donate to their charitable partner More Than Words for entry. Call 617.982.6339 for more info.
