Invoke your inner Viking (minus the pillaging, please) at Beacon Hill Bistro’s Midsommarmiddag dinner series. The special Midsummer Dinner pays homage to the solstice in the tradition of our northern neighbors with a four-course prix fixe Monday, June 15th through Sunday, June 21st. The kitchen will be serving up the best of the colder countries with dishes like gravlax with beets, pickled herring with potatoes and pork loin with roasted stone fruits. (Traditional aquavits will also be on hand.) The Midsommarmiddag menu (see a sample below) costs $47 per person and is available from 5:30-11:00pm, in addition to the regular dinner service.
