Black History Month Happy Hour

MIDA Instagram

MIDA straddles the line between two areas known for their rich histories — the South End and Lower Roxbury. In honor of its unique neighborhood-bridging location and in celebration of Black History Month, the Italian eatery is hosting a daily happy hour. Come past chef-owner Douglass Williams’ Tremont Street spot between 5:00 and 6:00pm, Monday through Friday, for a special Community Through Hospitality menu of small plates (crispy duck wings and salmon rillette) and two signature cocktails. Proceeds from the dishes will go towards two organizations that align with the restaurant’s mission: American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) and the Black Economic Council of Massachusetts (BECMA). The menu will be available through the end of the month so be sure to swing by to take part in the change-making get-together — don’t forget it’s short month though so you’d better get a move on. Call 617.936.3490 with any questions.
