A Bonus Day of Brunch

Skip the Memorial Day BBQ and get your eatin’ on during the brunch hours instead. Special menus abound at a bunch of local restaurants in honor of the holiday. Take a peek at them below, then take your pick — hint: there’s really no way to go wrong.

Gaslight’s bringing the French flair to the table at both their Boston location (serving brunch at 10am, then dinner at 5pm) and Lynnfield location (open for lunch by 11:30am, and starting dinner at 5pm). Try their omelettes, poached eggs or crepes for a mini-trip to Paris via your plate.

Amble on over to Aquitaine at their South End locale for brunch starting at 10:00am & dinner beginning at 5:00pm, or ‘burb it up in Dedham for a later dining time of 11:30am. Both bistros will be bumpin’, so book your reservation ahead of time.

Care for a stroll through SoWa? Then, Cinquecento is your destination. They’ll have brunch at 10:00am with items like French toast & frittatas and their normal Italian-inspired dinner menu by 5:00pm.

Maybe Masa is more up your alley. The Latin locale is extending their very popular brunch fiesta special through Monday — get two courses for $9.95 — from 10:00am-3:00pm. Get there early so you don’t have to wait, or do the smart thing and make a reservation.

Bostonia Public House will be brunching away the whole weekend from 10:00am-3:00pm Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Pop in after a stroll along the Harborwalk or on the Rose Kennedy Greenway to build your own bloody mary, paired with all your brunchish favorites from chef Kyle Ketchem and his team.
