Thanksgiving (and pie season more generally) is fast approaching, and you can start training now to become the go-to sweets maker in your family. Mamaleh’s pastry chefs Rachel Sundet and Lauren Feldman will teach you the ins-and-outs on Tuesday, October 30th covering topics like how to make your own pie dough, what warrants good seasonal fruit filling and how to master the no-bake route. It’s a hand-on workshop, so make sure to wear appropriate clothing (aka not your season’s best). Tickets are $90 plus a processing fee and include some light bites, a beverage (wine, beer or non-alcoholic), printed recipes to take home to your kitchen and the final result of the class: a delicious, Mamaleh’s-made-with-your-help pie.
