One of the hottest pop-ups around Boston, Kaki Lima, is paying a visit to Mamaleh’s throughout the month of March with four dates in which you can join them: Friday, March 15th; Saturday, March 16th; Friday, March 22nd; Saturday, March 23rd. The husband-and-wife team behind the wandering restaurant — chef Retno Pratiwi and Peter Gelling — serve unforgettable multi-course dinners of Indonesian food, a nod to the cuisine Pratiwi grew up eating. Menu details will be released soon, but for folks concerned about shellfish or pork being part of the plates, there’s no need to worry: neither will show up. Tree nuts and peanuts, however, are used heavily in Indonesian cooking, so here’s a heads up if that an issue for you. The meal begins at 7:00pm, although get there 30 minutes ahead of time to grab some bevvies from the Mamaleh’s crew. Tickets are $75 per person — snag yours here.
