Bar Mezzana pastry chef Christina Larson has a passion for donuts that can’t be contained on the restaurant’s dessert menu so, once a month she’ll be putting that passion toward her new pop-up, Basic Batch Donuts. Kicking off Saturday, September 16th at Bar Mezzana and recurring on the third Saturday of every month, the event will feature all kinds of delicious options (see below for a smattering) from 9:00am-1:00pm (while supplies last). Some of the confirmed flavors for this first installment include:
- Girl Scout Cookie: salted caramel, chocolate, coconut
- Pie Like you Berry Much: blueberry jam, lemon meringue
- Birthday Cake: vanilla frosted with sprinkles
- Italiano: espresso, mascarpone, chocolate, rum caramel
- Glutes with the Fur (gluten free): chocolate cake donut with classic glaze and shredded coconut
