Fresh, seasonal fruit is one of the many benefits of summer in New England, but you can only dump so much in your morning yogurt before you’ll have to find something else to do with it all. Bar Boulud has a sweet solution: on Saturday, July 21st, Pastry Chef Robert Differ is teaching a Summer Baking Class that’s all about seasonal fruit pies. From 11:00 am to 1:30 pm, you’ll learn how to roll the perfect crust and handle various fruit fillings, plus some ace decorating tips from the pro himself. Aprons and rolling pins will be provided, as well as some light snacks and bubbly, and you’ll leave with a whole pie plus some extra dough to test your skills at home. Tickets are $90; get yours here.
