This Fat Tuesday, February 28th, Lincoln Tavern’s chef Nick Dixon is bringing the flavors of the French Quarter to Southie to kick of the Mardi Gras celebrations. From 11:00am-10:00pm, guests can enjoy a Cajun classic with a New England twist – shellfish & andouille sausage gumbo that’s loaded with clams, shrimp, crab and the aforementioned andouille, complete with a Louisiana-style dark brown roux and rice ($24 per plate).
