Copley Square will be filled with passionate food lovers this weekend at the Let’s Talk About Food Festival on Saturday, September 23rd. The day-long celebration, which runs from 10:00am-5:00pm, will feature on-stage cooking conversations about hot topics within the food industry today, issues like the rise of food allergies, the state of sustainable fish stocks and the assimilation of immigrant dishes into American culinary culture.
The festival also brings together some of the most well-known names in Boston’s food scene, including Red’s Best, Island Creek Oyster Bar, Giulia, Oak + Rowan and Mei Mei. Half-hour cooking demonstrations are scheduled throughout the day, and celebrated chefs and food writers will be available to sign copies of their work under the Cookbook Author’s Tent.
