Burgundy, Mushroom & Game

L'Espalier Newsletter

Mondays are for wine, at least at L’Espalier, which is when they host their well-known series — named, you guessed it, Wine Mondays — to showcase some of their favorite varietals. On November 12th, the tasting menu is taking a game-y turn with plates of pheasant and venison alongside fungus friends like black truffles and hen-of-the-woods mushrooms. With each course, you’ll get a paired Burgundy wine, and things end on a sweet note with chef Frank McClelland‘s chocolate hazelnut torte. Call 617.262.3023 to make a reservation. Dinner costs $110 per person.
