Festa dei Sette Pesci, or Feast of the Seven Fishes, is the well-loved Italian-American tradition typically celebrated on Christmas Eve. Ledger Restaurant in Salem is getting a head start on the seafood extravaganza on Monday, December 10th, putting together a line-up of chefs to create a seven-course spread. The event starts at 5:30pm with a cocktail reception, but don’t fill up on all the passed hors d’oeuvres—the prix-fixe dinner starts at 6:30pm.
Chefs Colin Lynch of Bar Mezzana, Michael Serpa of Select Oyster Bar, Anthony Caturano of Tonno and Prezza, Tony Susi of RIPASSO, Dante de Magistris of Dante and il Casale, Jay Silva and Matt O’Neil of The Blue Ox, Daniel Gursha and Pastry Chef Michelle Boland of Ledger will each be preparing a plate for the meal, details of which can be found below. Dinner costs $185 per person, with all proceeds going towards Chefs Cycle, a fundraising bike ride for members of the culinary community that helps support No Kid Hungry. Spots are limited and reservations are required, so call 978.594.1908 to make sure you don’t miss out.
