If you find yourself around Downtown Crossing at any point during Labor Day weekend, make it a point to stop into The Merchant. The brasserie-esque locale is offering $1 oysters all day long starting Friday, August 31st and running right through Monday, September 3rd. You’ll also get a third day of brunch (woot!) — they’re serving up three days worth of cinnamon & cornflake crusted French toast, breakfast sammies and veggie omelettes on Saturday, September 1st & Sunday, September 2nd (regular brunch days) as well as Labor Day itself.
