Chefs in the Making

Kids can stay in school – culinary school – at Boston Harbor Hotel this February vacation. Sous chef Garrett Welch and pastry chef Shawn Dresser play professor at Chefs in the Making classes on Tuesday, February 21st and Wednesday, February 22nd. The kiddie cooking courses (targeted at ages 6-12) include a tour of the pop-up Harbor Market and a VIP look at the hotel’s kitchen. Student chefs will learn about cooking safety and tools and how to prep two plates (one sweet, one savory). Each burgeoning toque will get a souvenir chef’s hat and apron, plus any leftovers from their dishes. The classes run from 3:00-4:30pm and can be booked online here for $50 per child.
