This November, your favorite Jewish delicatessen has invited friends for dinner. Kaki Lima, the hit pop-up from chef Retno Patiwi and her husband, will be taking over the Mamaleh’s kitchen for three Friday feasts on November 2nd, 9th, and 16th, bringing you fine Indonesian cuisine and leaving you wondering when the pair is going to open their own space (soon, hopefully!). The menus are TBD, but you definitely won’t leave hungry. For folks with dietary restrictions: no pork or shellfish will be used, peanuts and tree nuts are featured prominently in Indonesian cooking. The first course will be served at 7:00pm on November 2nd and 16th, and 8:00pm on the 9th; each dinner is $70. Show up early to grab cocktails, beer, and wine from the Mamaleh’s bar crew.
