It’s National Martini Day, don’t you know, and the drink-making folks at Oak Long Bar are honoring the occasion with a one-day-only drink special: the Just Peachy Martini. They’ve been kind enough to supply the recipe below but in the event that your home bar is not stocked with Del Maguey Vida Mezcal or you’re not quite sure where your shaker is, just head to Copley Square to let them make one of their signature concoctions for you. After all, National Martini Day comes but once a year. Make the most of it.
Drink:
- 2 oz Del Maguey Vida Mezcal
- 1 oz lime juice
- 1 oz honey syrup
- 4 sprigs of mint
- 3-4 chunks of peach
- 2 dashes of Peychaud’s Bitters
- Top with Fever-Tree Mediterranean Tonic
Garnish:
- Cut a peach into quarters
- Grill one of the quarters for garnish
