If you’ve spent the last couple months channeling your inner Julia Child (or ordering takeout from other folks who are channeling their own inner Julia Child), you can pay tribute to the intrepid culinary pioneer throughout WGBH’s Julia Child Week. From Monday, May 25th through Friday, May 29th the Boston public media producer will be throwing daily watch parties from 3:00-6:00pm on YouTube, Facebook and Twitch channels, as well as WGBH.org. There’ll be full episodes of The French Chef as well as rare archival footage of Child’s 70s-era days in Provence with commentary from Alex Prud’homme, who co-wrote her memoir. There’ll also be interviews and live Q&A sessions with the award-winning chefly likes of Jody Adams, Tiffani Faison, Joanne Chang and Marcus Samuelsson. Tune in at 3:00pm for some inspiration – culinary and otherwise.
