You may think you know French wine but there is an eastern corner of the country that’s just a bit off the beaten path – luckily for you, your friends at Forage can show you the way (and the wines). Tucked between Burgundy and the Swiss border, Jura is the home of some very rare and distinctive wines made with grapes like Savagnin, Poulsard, and Trousseau — perfect for exploring from glass to glass paired with chef Eric Cooper’s offbeat fare on Tuesday, November 1st.

Check out the full menu below (fit for omnivores and vegetarians alike) featuring pairings like Roasted Rainbow Carrots with sesame, cumin, Maras Biber and fresh herbs with Cremant du Jura Brut “Indigene” Benedicte et Stephane Tissot; and Roasted Duck Breast with truffle spaetzle and preserved cherries, braised cabbage & Pulled Duck with mustardy celery root purée with 2019 Poulsard, Overnoy-Crinquand.

Make a reservation here ($95 per person) between 5:00 and 8:45pm and head to Cambridge for dinner in the dining room (or on the heated patio) and wine guru Stan Hilbert will walk you through the wines; or let the team pack a feast for two to take home for $160 (order here).
