You can get up close and personal with journalist and Beard award-winning food-writer John Mariani at Capo, come Thursday, October 20th. The esteemed author will be making an appearance at Southie’s newest destination for Italian fare for a book signing and exclusive dinner. Get there early (at 6:30pm) for the meet-and-greet portion of the evening; you’ll get a copy of Mariani’s How Italian Food Conquered the World, which you can even get signed. Then, book in hand, you can sit down to a five-course, family-style dinner from chef Tony Susi and Mariani (at 7:30).
