It may be the hottest time of the year in New England, but you channel some wintry holiday chill with a special Christmas in July menu from the peeps at Mamaleh’s and their friends at Sumiao Hunan Kitchen. Chefs Tyler and Rachel Sundet and their crew have teamed up with chef Sumiao Chen to create a cool, collaborative Jewish/Chinese menu featuring some east-meets-west matchups like Brisket Bao, Vegetarian Reuben Egg Rolls with Hoisin Russian, Duck Dan Dan Noodles and Manischewitz General Tso’s Chicken. The price includes a selection from each course (see the full menu below; vegetarian options will be available) before tax and tip. You can make your reservation for Sunday, July 24th at the Kendall Square location for either 5:30 or 7:30pm, and keep an eye on their socials (Facebook and Instagram) for price updates.
