This year’s class of James Beard Foundation Best Chef Northeast contenders, at least the Boston-based ones, are pooling their talents for a friendly and philanthropic dinner. On Monday, April 15th Jamie Bissonnette of Coppa and Toro, Joanne Chang of Flour and Myers + Chang and Barry Maiden of Hungry Mother will all be cramming into Hungry Mother’s Kendall Square kitchen to prepare two courses for the night’s six-course menu, each course of which will be paired with appropriate beverages. Proceeds from each $150 ticket (available online with an additional $9.24 in processing fees) will help mold the James Beard award nominees of tomorrow by way of local non-profit Future Chefs. Click through for details and tickets (and to see hilarious graduation photos from the aforementioned chefs).
