Chef Carolyn Johnson and her crew(s) from both 80 Thoreau and Mooncusser Fish House are heading to NYC to cook at the James Beard House, but you don’t have to hop on the Acela – just head to Mooncusser for a preview. From Friday, June 15th through Saturday, June 23rd, they’ll be running a five-course version of their New England Seafood Splash menu for their Boston-based fans. Just book a table during regular dinner hours to partake of seasonal, locally-sourced dishes like crab agnolotti with morels, peas and mascarpone and grilled bluefish with ramps, flageolets and spring herbs. The prix fixe costs $95 per person or $180 with select wine pairings. Call 617.917.5193 for reservations, and enjoy a Beard House-worthy dinner much closer to home.
