On Sunday, October 7th the Boston Local Food Festival, now in its third year, pops up on the Rose Kennedy Greenway. Featuring a plethora of local farms, food trucks, specialty food shops and restaurants (like 606 Congress, Beacon Hill Bistro, Sportello and The Fireplace) the 11:00am-5:00pm event will allow you to sample all the tasty local wares. To add to the fun, there’ll also be chef demos, live music, DIY booths and even a competition or two. The festival is free (though some of the special events are ticketed).
