Harvest Wine Dinner at Rochambeau

Rochambeau Instagram

The pros at Rochambeau are all about fall and they’ll be raising a glass (many glasses, in fact) to the start of the season at their upcoming Harvest Wine Dinner. Chef Phil Lewis and team have a fab five-course feast planned for Tuesday, September 27th – it’s filled with summer’s-end treats from some of their favorite local growers and producers, all paired up with some tres chic French wines. Head toward the Hynes Convention Center a little early for a drink at the bar (there’ve got two) before a 6:00pm start of foraged mushrooms with Walden Farms hen eggs, black truffle fingerling, sauce perigueux and frisse with a pour of Domaine Yvon & Laurent Vocoret Petit Chablis, followed by courses of Verrill Farms braised leeks, wood grilled rib of beef, and raclette before finishing the evening with a classic apple Tarte Tatin. Check out the full menu (complete with pairings) below and pick up your tickets here ($165 each, which includes tax and tip). If you can’t make it, bookmark Rochambeau’s Happenings page for upcoming goings-on, or check out their Insta for the inside scoop on the Back Bay brassiere.
