Slated for Sunday, June 3rd at the Boston Center for Adult Education, this brain-child of Storyville‘s Louis DiBiccari combines the talents of up-and-coming stars of both the art and culinary worlds. Chefs like Jason Cheek (KO Prime), Suzi Maitland (Trina’s Starlite Lounge), Brandon Arms (Garden at the Cellar), Mark Sheehan (Brass Tacks Boston), Steve “Nookie” Postal (Red Sox Executive Chef and current contestant on Around the World in 80 Plates) and Douglas Rodriguez (Clio) will be in the kitchen at the BCAE, creating a special dish inspired by the work of a local artist. Said artists will also be in the house, crafting a piece of artwork that will be auctioned off at the end of the night. Tickets, which include the aforementioned dishes, cocktails from Kevin Mabry of JM Curley, as well as treats from 90+ Cellars, Taza Chocolate, Island Creek Oysters and Cakes by Erin, cost $75 each and are only available for sale through Gilt City Boston until Friday, June 1st. A percentage of proceeds will benefit Lovin’ Spoonfuls in their work recovering and distributing to local crisis centers and soup kitchens food that would otherwise be wasted.
