It’s Almost Monday

The mundane beginning of the week is looking up thanks to Central Bistro’s new Four for 40 menu. Now you can have something to look forward to (or make a weekly tradition out of) on Mondays. Each week the Parisian bistro nestled in the heart of Downtown Crossing will be offering a four-course prix fixe for just $40. Who doesn’t want to feel fancy on a Monday night? Chef Eric Bogardus‘ handiwork, which might include courses like oysters Rockefeller or one giant profiterole, will see you through Tuesday and every other day of the working week until Monday rolls around and you do it all over again. House ricotta with fresh honeycomb, mission fig jam, served with grilled baguette and tarragon

Oysters Rockefeller with six Wellfleet oysyers baked with spinach parmesan and anisette

Crispy fennel pork pierogi with juniper sauerkraut, haricots verts, whipped zahtar sour cream and brown butter

One giant profiterole served with vanilla ice cream and fudge sauce
